Services

Diagnostic/Preventative procedures:

Our services are based on what is best for each patient’s oral health.
Your first dental visit will consist of a comprehensive examination, which includes an oral cancer screening, TMJ analysis, periodontal evaluation and examination of teeth. We will also make series of X-rays and additional intra-oral photographs. We use digital x-ray equipment which offers lower radiation exposure. Digital x-rays are also friendly to the environment in eliminating the need for additional chemicals in the office.

Preventative dental care is the best way to protect your teeth and your dental restorations. We take time to listen and customize your preventative dental procedures and treatment based on your individual needs.
From cleanings to dental exams, our staff works their hardest to ensure you have healthy teeth and gums.

Dr. Ginsburg or Dr. Yurchenko will thoroughly explain the results of the complete oral assessment and will give recommendations, as well as treatment options available to you.

  • Composite, tooth colored fillings ( bonding)

We can replace your old silver fillings with composite and light cured bonding materials. These natural looking restorations contain no mercury and are made as durable as amalgam restorations. They are matched exactly to the shade of your tooth enamel. The result is that your filling blends in completely and becomes invisible.
These materials also offer higher biocompatibility with soft tissues of the mouth then do the old amalgam restorations.

Among many composites which are available, we only use the ones with minimal cytotoxicity (BPA free).

  • Root canal treatment

A root canal is one of the most common dental procedures performed. At the center of your tooth is pulp. Pulp is a collection of blood vessels that helps to build the surrounding tooth.
Infection of the pulp can be caused by trauma to the tooth, deep decay, cracks and chips, or repeated dental procedures.
Symptoms of the infection can be identified as visible injury or swelling of the tooth, sensitivity to temperature or pain in the tooth and gums.
Endodontic therapy involves the complete removal of everything that lies in the root canal. The hollow area is then cleaned, shaped and decontaminated. Miniscule files and irrigation solutions are used. An inert filling, such as gutta percha, fills up the hollow, along with a eugenol-based cement.
We use local anesthesia to eliminate discomfort. You will be able to drive home after your treatment.

  • Implant restoration

Dental implants provide a permanent solution for replacing a single tooth, several teeth or entire dentition. They offer the same biting force as a natural tooth, because the implant is anchored in the bone. Implants are made from several different types of metallic and bone-like ceramic materials that are compatible with body tissue, and resemble real teeth. Dr. Ginsburg and Dr. Yurchenko have years of experience restoring dental implants, and can give you back the natural looking and feeling teeth you want.

  • Dental crowns and bridges

A crown is placed on a tooth to protect it from decay, replace lost tooth structure due to breakage or wear or improve aesthetics. There are different materials from which a crown can be fabricated. Our lab uses the highest quality metal and porcelain to achieve maximum easthetics and biocompatibility.

A bridge is a fixed prosthetic used to replace one or more missing teeth. It is held in by existing teeth or implants adjacent to the space that is being restored and is made up of several crowns connected together. Bridges restore aesthetic, speech and chewing function and prevent teeth from shifting, providing arch stability.

  • Metal free crowns and bridges

New technology allows our lab to fabricate crowns and bridges of pure porcelain without a metal substructure. These new materials are superior in strength and resilience while providing maximum aesthetics and tissue biocompability. Unlike traditional crowns with a metal substructure, these will not leave a dark line at your gumline.

Our on call lab technician can customize a difficult to match shade or shape so that your new crown or bridge blends in perfectly with the rest of your dentition.

  • Dentures

Full/partial/immediate/metal free dentures/implant retained over dentures

A denture helps to properly chew food, improve speech and prevent a sagging face by providing lip and cheek support. Dentures are removable prostheses indicated when some or all the teeth in the lower or upper arch are missing.

Full dentures replace all missing teeth in an arch. They are held in place by hard and soft tissues of the mouth and in some cases require an adhesive to be stable.

    Implant retained overdentures:

An implant retained denture is a type of overdenture that is supported by and attached to implants. Implant retained dentures can be made for upper or lower jaws.
Instead of using suction or adhesion, an oral surgeon implants posts into your mouth that serve as the anchor for your dentures. To insert them into your mouth, you simply snap your dentures into the posts. The end result is less sliding and slipping than traditional, removable dentures. Your denture is still removable for easy cleaning and maintenance.

    Immediate denture:

Immediate dentures are made in advance and can be placed at the time of extractions. With immediate dentures, the dentures will be in place during the healing process. As with any teeth extractions, intraoral tissues will shrink and need time to heal after the removal of teeth. The disadvantage of immediate dentures compared to conventional dentures, is that they will require more adjustments to fit properly during the healing process and you may need a new set of dentures once the healing process is complete; usually 4 to 6 months after extractions.

    Partial dentures:

Partial dentures replace teeth when some natural teeth are still present. It also prevents a sagging face by providing support for lips and cheek.

We offer (RPD) biocompatible, Non Allergenic, Flexite partials.

Flexite is a light flexible plastic that fits comfortably over your teeth and gums. Flexite is biocompatible (non allergenic), it is aesthetic and blends in with your gums. Flexite partial dentures eliminates the metallic taste and possibly hazardous chemicals from the metal used in the traditional partial dentures.

  • Occlusal Guard

Occlusal guard is an appliance which is fabricated to control grinding and clenching of your teeth. Grinding and clenching is often related to stress and can result in occlusal wear, broken teeth and crowns, facial muscle pain, headaches and earaches.

A proper lab fabricated night guard can provide relief from these symptoms and prevent damage to teeth and supporting structures.

  • Porcelain veneers

PORCELAIN VENEERS IS THE ULTIMATE PROCEDURE FOR A COMPLETE SMILE MAKEOVER.

Porcelain veneers are probably the most versatile treatment in cosmetic dentistry. A veneer is a thin shield of porcelain that is used to cover the front surface of the tooth. Veneers are designed as a permanent way to change the shape of teeth or enhance the look of stained, chipped, broken teeth or close spaces between teeth. That makes it a great alternative to crowns because in certain cases it allows for minimal removal of the patient’s tooth structure.

Each veneer is custom designed and fitted for a seemless look. The new generation of porcelain is highly durable and translucent; made to reflect light like natural tooth enamel and unlike bonding and composite materials, is also stain resistant.
Our on call lab technician can customize a difficult to match shade and shape of the veneer so that it blends in perfectly with the rest of your natural dentition.

  • Teeth whitening procedure

Teeth whitening is a quick, painless procedure that can lighten your teeth by up to 3 shades or more in one 30 minute appointment, giving you a beautiful smile. Teeth affected by staining agents such as wine, coffee, tobacco and soda can be significantly whitened with teeth whitening treatments. The procedure involves coating the teeth with whitening gel, then applying a special low-heat light to the gel. The light breaks down hydrogen peroxide, allowing oxygen to bleach the dentin and the teeth enamel.

The procedure typically takes about 30 minutes and once it’s complete, you should see the results immediately. Although very effective, whitening is not a permanent procedure and may require a touch up every 1-2 years; more often if you smoke, drink coffee, tea or red wine.

We also offer a take home whitening treatment that includes lab fabricated trays and a professionally dispensed whitening solution.

We usually recommend a combination of the two treatments for most effective, long lasting results.

  • Facial Injectables

Why chose a cosmetic dentist for dental injectables?

Dentists perform intraoral injections many times a day.

Who knows facial anatomy and aesthetics better than a dentist?

A great smile makes a face beautiful but a great smile is not just about beautiful teeth.

With Botox and facial fillers we can improve facial contours, replace lost volume to the lips, cheeks and jawline and create a more relaxed appearance.

    Botox/ Dysport- neuromuscular blocking agents

These products are used for non-surgical treatment of face and neck that temporarily soften frown lines, forehead wrinkles and crow’s feet. Tiny injections block nerve impulses to injected muscles reducing their activity which leads to smoother skin and a more relaxed appearance.

    Restylane, Perlane, Juviderm

Restylane, Perlane, Juviderm are facial fillers made from hyaluronic acid, a natural substance that is already present in our bodies. Used to treat signs of facial aging these products can replace volume lost due to aging and sun exposure, fill wrinkles and dermal scars, restore a fuller contour of the lip, smooth out nasolabial folds and marionette lines.

We only use materials that are formulated with lidocaine to reduce discomfort during procedure.

Schedule a consultation to discuss which dermal filler best fits your cosmetic needs.

    Voluma:

Voluma is an injectable dermal filler formulated from hyaluronic acid and made specifically to add volume to cheeks and jaw area. What makes Voluma different from other hyaluronic acid fillers is that it is a smooth yet concentrated material specifically designed to add lift rather than just replace volume. Voluma is formulated with lidocaine, a local anesthetic to reduce discomfort during the procedure. The treatment takes 15-20 minutes.:

    Belotero:

A filler made from naturally occuring hyaluronic acid. It is a very low viscosity gel which allows it to treat very superficial lines and wrinkles, areas where the skin is thin. It is ideal for lines around the nose and mouth.

The results are subtle, seamless and long lasting.
